Announcements:

• Spoonfuls of Fellowship—Join us on Sunday, February 15 following worship for time of warm fellowship and food. Check the sign-up for what to bring.
  
• Ash Wednesday Service – February 18, 6:00 PM—We begin the Lenten journey together with a quiet, meaningful service of worship and prayer. The imposition of ashes reminds us that we are formed by God, dependent on His grace, and invited into new life through Jesus.
  
• Movie Night—be making plans for our movie night. Friday, February 20 at 7 PM. Title is to be determined.
  
• Spring Work Day—March 7, raindate 21—Join us as we clean and freshen up the property, making it ready for Easter. We will be laying mulch, trimming hedges, cleaning up litter on the field, and organizing Union St. A complete list will be available in February.
  
• Easter Egg Hunt—If you would like to help plan this year’s Easter Egg Hunt, please join us after worship on next Sunday.
  
• Sight and Sound Trip—We are already looking forward to our trip to Sight and Sound on Thursday, April 9. We will leave church at 7 AM. We will not be stopping for breakfast and need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show which begins at 11 AM sharp. Lunch will follow at Hershey Farm Restaurant—smorgasbord style. Cost is $130 for adults and $60 for children. Payment is due February 22 and if making a check, should be made out to The Journey.
  
• Heritage Gathering @ Denton—April 23-25—It all begins with a Collingsworth Family Concert at 7 on Thursday evening. Tickets are required for the concert. Friday and Saturday, Dan & Debbie Berry and Mark and Deby Berry will lead the services at 10 am, 2 and 6:30 pm, and 10 am on Saturday. Meal tickets for the weekend are $75.
